Caleb Simpson (Owner)
I’m Caleb, a seasoned woodworker with over 20 years of experience in residential and commercial woodworking. My journey began in Columbia, MO, where I honed my skills trimming houses. After a decade, I moved to Chicago, diving into bar and restaurant re-concepts and buildouts, where I developed a keen eye for creativity and functionality. From there, I co-founded a woodworking business in Nashville with Baxter Built, specializing in hospitality buildouts that brought unique spaces to life. In 2020, I returned to St. Louis to be closer to home and lay down roots with my two kids. Now, through Woodgrain Sunrise, I bring my expertise to both residential and commercial projects—whether it’s custom cabinetry, built-ins, or detailed trim work.
